Few issues have taken up more public space in the last half century or so than relations between men and women. These aren't the kinds of issues I usually discuss here, even though they have taken up plenty of space in my own life, too. However, quite by accident, I just came across a long twitter thread on this subject that I found both hilarious and very revealing. Let me say that I know where many of my favorite female thinkers, such as Nancy Friday and Camille Paglia, would stand on this exchange. These issues are out of balance, in my opinion, and I hope eventually younger generations can make some progress.
